Corbitt's Rough Week at SuperNationals
Corbitt has a rough return to the SKUSA SuperNationals, finishing 34th after pulling of the track due to late race contact.
Corbitt qualified deep in the field, 34th, and started each of his heat races 17th. In the first heat race, he was moved back on the start, and finished 18th. In the second heat, Corbitt drove to a 9th place finish. In the 3rd and final heat race, Corbitt badly bent his rear axle on the start, and had to pull off the track.
Corbitt started 34th in the main event, receiving the final secured spot in the main event.
In the early portions of the main event, Corbitt drove up to 15th position and from there began to fall back due to a bent steering shaft, which caused the wheels to toe out. In the late portions of the race, Corbitt has hit by crashing kart, which bent his side pod into his tire, therefore beginning to cut the tire. Corbitt finished 34th after pulling off the track.
PKS Pro Kart Service, Proscapes, and Racing 2 Cure played great roles at the track.
