The Story:
When Hunter was little (4 years old) his grandparents bought him a go-kart off of ebay to drive around in his backyard. He drove so much that his dad (Jeff Corbitt) was getting frustrated because Hunter was killing his lawn.
So Jeff went to work. He found the nearest karting company and bought him a kart for his birthday. From there on he grew up at Prairie City Kart Club, winning races when he was little in kid karts, and championships too. Hunter became one of the top cadet drivers in the world. Once Hunter was done with karting (age 12), he got into Legend Race Cars, which are scaled down cars such as the Chevy and Ford 1934 coupe or sedan. In his first full year in legend racing, Corbitt totaled 8 wins, 15 top 5s and 15 top 10s. He was also won the 2014 Young Lions Champion. In 2015, Corbitt jumped into super late models, scoring a win in his rookie season. From 2016-2020, Corbitt has driven for multiple different teams and series, including super late models, modifieds, legend cars, and karts.
In 2017, Hunter founded a non-profit called Humanity Reboxed, which provides care packages to the less fortunate. To support the organization, visit HumanityReboxed.com
