Troubles for Corbitt in Madera
The Legends of the Pacific visited Madera Speedway for the 4th of July celebration on June 28th. Timmy Mangini got the pole just over Cameron Austin by 0.083 secs followed by Ricky Schlick, Tony Mangini, and Jeremy Wood rounded out your top 5 with Hunter Corbitt sitting in 6th. Tim pulled a 13 car invert for the main, so the night promised to be a good show as the top 7 cars were 3 tenths from each other. As the main began, the field was being shuffled around quickly and on lap 6, Hunter Corbitt broke a rear trailing arm bolt sending him out of the race. By lap 10, Jeremy Wood took the lead and never looked back, easily winning the race. Tim Mangini finished 2nd followed by Tony Mangini, Cameron Austin and Brandon Weaver rounded out your top 5.
